THE SUPREME VIEW OF MARRIAGE
Genesis 2:20-25 and Ephesians 5:21-31
What is God’s view of marriage? While culture may have one view, shouldn’t we honor God’s view? God’s view of marriage was designed before the Fall. A husband and a wife unite to honor God and to complement one another. There is no more important unit than a husband and wife committed to one another and to the Lord.
GOD’S DESIGN FOR MARRIAGE
Genesis 1:26-27 IMAGIO DEI
Jesus demonstrates compassion for a deaf mute man and he attempts to communicate with the man in a way that he will understand. Like Jesus, we need to learn how to be sensitive to the people in our Oikos and to communicate from their reference point not ours.
THE CODE OF HONOR
Ephesians 5:1-4
According to the Cadet Code of Honor, an Air Force cadet commits to integrity and to reporting anyone who cheats. Why is this such an important Code in the military? If this is so important in the military, shouldn’t it be just as important in the Church. Paul challenges the Ephesians to follow God’s example. What does that mean for us in a world that does not want to call a sin a sin?

GOD IS A PROMISE KEEPER 11-1-15
Genesis 12:3
Since the first covenant with Abraham, God has kept His promise to bless the nations of the world by blessing His chosen people, Israel. On May 14, 1948, the promise of a second return from exile became reality as Israel was formed as a modern nation. We celebrate that all of the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ Jesus.

WITH THE MEASURE YOU JUDGE 11-8-15
Matthew 7:1-5
Jesus calls us to face our sins so that we can help others with theirs. Once we have been forgiven, we are to go into the world and preach the Gospel to all people. We are even called to admonish one another so that we can become more like Christ.
Does She Really Want Chocolate
Ephesians 5:28-33 So much in our culture is warring against a healthy marriage. Many people are opting out of marriage and living together instead. What is God’s intention for marriage? Surely, he did not want it to end in divorce or be ravaged by adultery. This week, Hallmark and Sees Candies will make a lot of money. Consider what you can do to strengthen your marriage if you are married and the marriages around you.
