Romans 5:11-16 The idea of dying can be troubling. None of us has ever died and therefore, we may dread the idea. We all want to live forever, or do we?
Don’t We All Want To Avoid Pain
Matthew 5:38-48 None of us likes to see people being killed by our enemies or even our nation being ridiculed. Nevertheless, Jesus told us to love our enemies. This is hard work. 300 YEARS AFTER JESUS’ DEATH AND RESURRECTION, Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire. It did this without ever picking up a sword, waging a battle, or fighting back. It simply happened one person at a time, as the followers of Jesus lived out the message of His kingdom.
Mark 9:17-27 Perhaps we are too hard on those of us who doubt. Doubt is real; the question is whether we will remain in our doubt. O God, Help my unbelief.
Acts 1:1-10 The Holy Spirit will anoint us to be witnesses wherever we go. We need to pray for that anointing and for God to send out workers for the harvest is great.
