Approach God With Thanksgiving And Praise
Psalm 100:1-5 What is your attitude when you come to God in prayer? Do you use praise just to get tell someone what is upsetting you? Is that true praise? When are you sincerely thankful of what someone has done for you or of something that occurred in your life?
Psalm 9:1-2, 9-11 When God told us to give thanks in ALL circumstances, He knew that many of our circumstances would be challenging even painful. Still he invites us to give thanks. This Psalm is written as a song of thanksgiving even after David’s son died. David understood how difficult and important it is to give thanks in ALL circumstances.
Psalm 138
We have so many reasons to thank God. We don’t want to like the Ephesians who knew God but did not worship or give thanks to God.
Malachi 4:4-6 What would it have been like to have lived during the time before Jesus was born. It has been referred to as 400 years of silence. No prophet spoke to Israel until John the Baptist preached in the wilderness. Have you had a season of no hope?
